I have not been able to find any information on this through my google searches. If I open a word or excel doc, and select File->Share->Email, I don't have this issue.īut it does happen with all file types when I use the Send To command. This behaviour also occurs if I open up a PDF (I tried using both Adobe and Foxit) and selecting File->Attach to Email (in whatever variation the program allows). If I right click on the ribbon, minimize is greyed out.
I see only the customize ribbon button, the maximize button and the close window button. However, in the top right, there is no minimize button. This opens an Outlook 2016 message window, with the file attached. In Windows Explorer, I will right click a file (does not matter what file type I choose, but I first noticed it with PDF files) and select Send To->Mail Recipient.
I have tested this on a Windows 7 Pro and a Windows 10 Pro system. I am having an issue that I have been able to recreate on all systems using Outlook 2016 (via Office 365) that I have tried.
